Hello everyone,

Super Visa candidates can get the work permit?
If someone is residing in Canada and having the 10 years super visa, then can he/she get the work permit?

That person can apply if they qualify. As usual, there is no guarantee they will be approved.

To qualify to apply, they must first find an employer who is willing to offer them a job. That employer must then obtain an approved Labour Market Opinion (LMO). To be approved for an LMO, the employer will have to prove that the job was advertised and no Canadian could be found for the role.

Once the person has a job offer from an employer and an approved LMO, they can then try applying for a work permit.

Yes - possible but probably very difficult.

Most employers aren't willing to go through the LMO process because it costs money, takes several months and there's no guarantee of approval.
