Hi,

I'm on PGWP but haven't found full time work yet and even though I'm working close to 40h/week I'm not eligible for OHIP(need Fulltime in writing) and I'm on private insurance which I was told is remeditive in nature, meaning I only go to doc when I get sick.

This year I want to be extra careful because I'm now living with other people and I'm taking the bus. I would like to get a flu shot but everywhere I go, walmart, Rexall, even clinics, they ask me for a health card.

I CAN pay for the shot but it's always the same thing, they can't give me the shot and don't know where to send me...

Also my nephew is in 7th grade, he's getting immunizations for bunch of things(about 5 shots) that i never heard off (maybe different names in my language) but it is something I want to get as well. Again, I can pay for those but I'm at a lost where to go.

Any ideas?

You can't get the flu shot at a pharmacy without an OHIP card. Google "non ohip clinics" for the city you are in. They should be able to provide this service at a cost.
