Extend your work permit. Then when you have your new work permit, apply for a TRV to a visa office outside Canada (so the US), and attach a copy of your new/extended work permit. BTW, how long ago did you send your application for PR?

What is the nature of your job? What province are you in now? You can try applying for a new TRV now but I am not very sure you'll get one considering your WP is close to expiration date. So the best approach is extend your WP before applying for a TRV. Is it so important to leave in March? (Sorry if I seem nosy.)

I have no experience of getting anything from POEA.

You probably are referring to the Certificate to Travel. But I defer to those more knowledgeable about this.

okey tnx a lot

Hi,

Ask your Mom to call the number of POEA (721-94-89) and ask. I think OFWs (will your Mom be leaving for abroad as an OFW?) get this certificate so that they don't have to pay the travel tax. I didn't know about these things when I left :)

how about in canada like ottawa can my mum get a POEA so when she come back to canada no need to worry!

Is she going to work in Ottawa? I think if she's going to work there then she can get the certificate but if she's going there for a visit I don't think she'd be entitled.
