I am seeking information regarding obtaining a work permit for someone from Mexico. Is there already a thread available?
No - I don't think there's a separate thread.

Do you already have a job offer in Canada and an approved LMIA?

No, he is just starting out this process. And I was hoping to gain a little insight into where to get a list of employers in the London area and where to begin.

How do we find employment for him if there is no list of employers looking for employees? I am not familiar with how to even start the search. I am assuming you have to find a job first before you can apply for a visa??

Yes - you need a job offer and approved LMIA before you can apply for a work permit.

You need to apply for jobs through regular job sites such as linkedin, etc. and hope you get lucky and find an employer willing to go through the process of hiring a foreign worker (the vast majority are not).
