Can information be edited once you are in the document checklist?

Hello!
We received an ITA and are currently in the process of filling everything.
As we are going to travel from Canada to Mexico and after that to Chile as a last residence, we are wondering if we can send the information, get the document checklist so we can get stuff we need while in Mexico and then edit it to add the travel history and the address change.

I've seen in the videos and edit button, but was wondering if someone actually did it.

Just to make sure, with submit you mean the entire application, not only the first part that is to fill information?

Yes, it's when you sign it, transmit and pay your fees at the very last step.
