Hi, I just have a small question regarding the Extension of a Work Permit for a Long Haul Truck Driver (Manitoba).
We have submitted an application for a Provincial Nominee Program (March 1, 2010) but our current visas expire on 1st May, 2010.
Is it possible to send an application to extend a Work Permit ( for principal applicant) and a Visitor Visa (wife) for couple of months stating that we are awaiting reply from Manitoba PNP? Are we required to present New LMO from Employer?
Manitoba PNP say it takes at least two months to process our application but we are a bit worried as we only have 2 months left.
If this is not possible without new LMO - can we stay in Canada after the 1st of May as visitors up to 6 months (not work) based on a fact that we are citizens of a Country that don't need a TRV to be in Canada?
