Work Permit Extension (August and Sept applicants)

So after almost 150 days of waiting I receive an e-mail from CIC saying that my profile has been updated. I drop everything, rush to get my lap top, wait forever for the internet to connect and a browser to load (you know how it goes), finally open my profile just to find out that it's another empty update and nothing has changed. Application open, decision not started...

Hey guys my time line is as below:
Applied : 6th September
Blank update: 5th November
Medical Request : 18th January
Medical done: 20th January

Waiting for the result.
Mine is spousal open work permit

Did anyone else notice that the time line just went up? Now saying 139 days (wp renewal online same employer) and not bothering to tell us what dates they are actually working on.

Hey friends
I applied for extension in July 2015 by paper application
Work permit expired in Dec 2015
Got PNP in December before work permit expiration
Now i am on implied status.
Can anybody please tell me what's going on With extension applications

You should contact them. As you can see on this forum, people who applied in August, September, they already got the extension. Yours is so much longer as the timeline.

Hey guys. MinE is spousal open work permit applied inside canada online on 6th September. I got medical request on 18th January night. I got it done on 20th January morning. Please let me know till what time can I expect an update?
