Hi all!

I have recently received an engineering job offer from a Canadian company. It's a great offer, good money in a city that thrills me a lot. I'm an engineer from Mexico waiting to physically receive my degree (my University website says that it will be ready to be picked up in two months). I have my transcript and degree of completion (carta pasante). I have talked of this with the Canadian company and they want to proceed with the work permit application with the advice of an immigration attorney.

Even if I'm excited about this opportunity, I don't want to rush into an immigration process that may be destined to fail because of this document, especially because this denial will pop up in future immigration processes. Has any Mexican citizen experienced a situation like this and what was the outcome? Should I wait to have my degree in my hands?

Thank you all!
