Work Permit Application (To VAC) in NY in July

I submitted my work permit application under LCP last oct 27 at VAC ny.. i track the status and it said under consideration what additional documents did you send may i know?what is your time line? Did you submitted it in person or mail? Thank you

Hi collin. Did you get your passport back? I also applied in vac ny walk in last oct 17 but they didnt get my passport. Are you applying under LCP?

samantha1230, i haven't got y passport back...they haven't even asked for it yet im still under consideration. they asked for me to send an pre paid envelope for my passport to be returned once they request it

my timeline

29th September application received at NY VAc, asked for additional document
3rd Oct - application sent after document received
6th October - application received under consideration..

Application type - work permit for live in care giver

no just for a work permit and under category selected live in caregiver

Hi lottieh1 i personally went there at new york vac last oct 15 snd dunmitted my application on 17 now i track it said under consideration. They told me 30 days is the processing. Is that possible?

Hi. I submitted my work permit under LCP on october 17 and i got passport request just nov.14 its less thsn a month. And on dec 1 i got it back with visa and introduction letter from cic. Now um planning to exit and enter canada again thru the border. God is really good akk the time because i read s lot about those with same application as i me but didnt get it in kess than a month.

I applied online through the CIC website. So I did not have to send in my passport. They review the application and once they decide to grant the visa they ask for the passport to be sent in to their nyc office (for work permits). I paid the visa application fee online, but once I sent in the passport to nyc I had to pay an additional fee of $34.10 for passport processing. I received the request for passport on Aug 23 and sent in it on Aug 25th which was delivered to them on Aug 26th. I am still waiting to get my passport back.

Hi colin may I ask if you could able to send me a copy how to apply online for application of work permit in NY? im here in Canada as a visitor permit holder. Please help. Thanks!
