-i haven't recieve my LMO yet. my employer got an email for the reapplication last jan.24 using the new LMO application form. So were just about in the second week. And I haven't recieve an email yet from my employer if she already got an AOR from the service canada.
Waiting is the most painful part...

aww..good for you!at least your employer is already doing something to get that lmo moving. mine is something to figure out. i'm already tired and exhausted of waiting. can you tell me what he did as his first step in applying for ur lmo? i still don't have my contract. it's been 1 and a half week already but my employer did not provide me yet with a copy of contract. i am so devastated right now :'(

REGARDING THE POLICE CLEARANCE...

Anyone here who knows if I can use a representative for the authentication of the LETTER OF ENDORSEMENT in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs?

i think you can use a representative.. they are not checking it actually. just give ur endorsement, ur payment and they will stamp it immediately.. just try..

-i see... i'll try that. Going out is the hardest thing for me to do. Its really hard to ask permission in this hell! (Sorry for the term) they'll ask every little details why you need to go out. And friday is holiday so for sure no work for those people in the ministry... that's why im thinking of using a representative... :/

-1st step she did was to post an ad for the job... it needs to be up for 2 weeks before the LMO application... but while waiting for the two weeks to be done, she started to gather the documents that she need (eg. Birth certificates of the children, income tax information etc.). She also started to make the detailed contract while waiting for those documents to arrive ( specialy the income tax information..it takes time to get this.) After almost a month before I got the detailed contract from them...

-its too early maybe... just keep on waiting... hihi you may also start to gather the documents that you need... make plans and gather information if you think one of the documents will be difficult to accomplished (like on my part..that police clearance is really big headache!)

-i didn't mean anything bad by posting the cic website. I'm also new here but i did all the reading on the cic site about work permit application before i found this forum and as far as i know i found every detail and all the answers to my questions in the site as a new applicant and aspirant to come to canada. You said you didnt focused on how to apply for the work permit, well then the cic site will give you a great help regarding that as it did to me. If you find it rude i didnt mean it.

Thanks for the link but apparently I won't fit to that because I'm working here in KSA as IT and maybe that's why I'm having some difficulties to look for an employer to hire me and as we know that there are lots of competitions for my field inside canada

i heard that police clearance can be process online.. im not sure how true it is but u can do further research on it. maybe it wil help you. because some sisters who went exit already were processing their saudi police clearance in the philippines thru online. i dont knw f it is also applicable to the one who is still here in the kingdom.

I applied under the live-in caregiver program. I submitted last November 3, was asked for the medical exam and other documents last November 7. My employer and I completed all the needed documents after two weeks. Until now, we are still waiting for updates from them. Whenever I sent emails to the visa office, all I got were automated response as acknowledgment of my emails and inquiries. Sad to say, I need to leave the kingdom because my iqama was expired last month. So, I might as well wait in the Philippines for the visa.

u nid to secure first an endorsement leter frm the phil embsy then have it stamp in ministry of foreign affairs then go to any police dept.

I think you can still renew your iqama by paying additional late fees & if at all your exit visa has been issued; it can also be cancelled.... Just speak to your sponsor.

I got mine from the embasy on wheels maybe after an hour of waiting..

-that's good. Just keep in touch with your employer. That part is really exciting. I got my contract dec.30.. what an exciting year end day for me. Hehe
Im working here in dammam.. for the police clearance we need to get the endorsement letter in the phil.consulate.. i'll be going on friday in khobar (embassy on wheels) to get one...

maybe you can search on other websites for sure there are some employers outhere. Its too early to think that way... just stay positive... or maybe you can try what leomar is saying... try and try and seach and search... i know you can find someone eventually... best of luck!
