WORK PERMIT APPLICATION - ABU DHABI EMBASSY

Hi iam applying for SOWP what should i put in my application form which is in "application for work permit outside canada " form there is a box there mention about the employer in canada like " my Occupation in canada will be: and its asking job title and brief description of duties and also the working place, Iam applying for SOWP under my husband who is working as a cook in canada and also in the form it' s asking for LMO number which is I dont have yet and I think its not required for me..pls help me guys who had experienced in filled up this form..

You can just write Open, Because you going to apply for Spousal Open Work Permit, and for location or address also open but you can put province where your husband is staying. I brought my wife also same as you from Dubai.

Wow thank you so much, how about in the employer name all I can write OPen..? its really required a cover letter also?

Covering letter is not really important but if you provide proof of funds from your side and your husband side is better. My wife she got her visa within 4 and half months. Yes employer name also open. You need to fill all the work permit forms mad outside Canada, police report, company reference letter, proof of resident of uae, marriage certificate, from your husband side his work permit, visa, proof of employment, bank statement if $10000(better) some payslip or T4 etc.

just current account, especcially if they need 10000$ as a proof.. my husband is just new in canada , 5 months.. we spend 7 000$ for his fee for the agency who is recruit him in canada.. Do you think my application for my sowp might be refuse. if I fail to submit a savings bank statement..thanks again

If so tell your husband to make company letter which mention his wages, duty responsibility and position. if you worker in UAE make yours too same as your husband.

I have just few questions to ask, you mentioned your wife had received her visa also? was it sowp? did she applied via online as well? coz my query is, whether our online application will also land to Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi for a VO to assess. As what I have read in the thread, Canadian embassy Abu Dhabi seems to take lots of time for processing.

I have just few questions to ask, you mentioned your wife had received her visa also? was it sowp? did she applied via online as well? coz my query is, whether our online application will also land to Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi for a VO to assess. As what I have read in the thread, Canadian embassy Abu Dhabi seems to take lots of time for processing.

Yes My wife she got her spousal open work permit in Jun 2013. No she applied direct from embassy. Yes if your spouse is in the UAE, Oman, Qatar, and some of gulf country then your spouse work permit process by Canadian embassy Abu-Dhabi.

thanks Ghagen, its me who is in Oman right now... my husband is currently working in Alberta, Canada and I had applied for SOWP thru online. I was just thinking it will land also in Canadian embassy Abu Dhabi even if I submitted via online.

If so, will there be a chance that we can receive an update within 4-6 months as what is mentioned in their website? As what I can see in the thread, it is still in April 2013 that they are processing...
