Hi Guys, I have a question related to PGWP.

I am going to apply this two weeks later. Just wondering is there any reason that cic will reject it? I have no criminal record and I know exactly all the rules that CIC asked but I am still a little worried about it.

The thing bothers me is that I was back to my home country for 1 month during a study-term, the stamps that showing the boarding record is on my passport and it is request in the application. does anyone know if this matters? my mark is good, over 80%, but I have left for 1 month during a study term...I am really worried. :( My program is a two years college program, IT area

PGWP are rarely refused. The only reason it should be refused is if: you apply more than 90 days after completing your courses, you took any courses online, you were part-time during your last two semesters. If you were only part-time during your last semester, you should be absolutely fine.

Hi, thanks for you reply. I do have two online courses in my two years program which only weigh 5% of all of the courses. You mentioned 'took ANY courses online' will be rejected, are you 100% sure about this? :)

Still wondering CIC only calculates last 2 semester?
I failed some courses and took part time to cover 2 failed courses in the next semester.
And finished 3 and 4 semester successfully.
Then isn't no problem to take PGWP?

Whether your PGWP will be approved or not is up to CIC. You are supposed to be a full time student while studying in Canada. If only your last semester was part time - then you should be fine. In your case - you'll have to see what the CIC officer decides.

Thanks for your quote. If I knew this issue, I would take a modified plan. But, my program header gave me wrong direction. I will get some advice from administrator of school.
