Work History Discrepancy?

Hello everyone,

In my EE profile, I noted only one position - position "X". However, I started off as a junior (e.g., "Junior X") and worked up the ladder to earn the position of "X" at the same company & department.

• Do I need to revise my EE profile to include all different positions in the company from "Junior X" up to "X" position, or can I just leave it as it is?

My concern is that my reference letter would most likely refer to 2 positions - "Junior X" and "X" - instead of one noted in my EE profile. Will this be seen as a discrepancy and could my application be rejected on this ground?

Lastly, if you advise to revise my EE profile, are there any downsides to it? Could my score be lowered for some reason?

I'm in the same boat. I'm not making different sections in my EE profile, as the NOC is same.

I've researched the forum a bit and found some threads covering this issue (link). It seems that the general advice is to "Create express entry profile with the entire duration of work and just last held designation. Create a separate entry only if the experience with same company is in different country. Mention all designations in the reference letter."

Hope this is fine; I just wanted to ensure that my application won't be challenged by the IRCC due to some petty reason.

Could you pls. help me in my problem -

For my FSW EE application, I've received my ITA, and I'm working on gathering all the dcmnts. For the PoF requirement, as I came to Canada as an international student back in 2018, so all of my own savings that I had from my own country (approx. 16,000.00 CAD) got spent on my necessities and tuition in the past 2 years, so is it okay if I get the min. amount for the PoF requirement as a gift from my full-siblings (blood relationship). I have two full-siblings in Canada, both PR, and both of them "combined" are voluntarily willing to gift me the amount required for my PoF requirement. Do I need an "INTER VIVOS DEED OF GIFT" made from both of em?

I'm no expert or specialist so my knowledge on this subject is probably as good as yours. Based on my understanding, if your funds are insufficient to meet the minimum requirement one of the possible solutions is to receive money from any of your friends/family members in the form of a "deed of gift". So in your case it seems that the "Inter Vivos Deed of Gift" from both of your siblings would be an acceptable arrangement. But again, I'm a lay person so don't quote me on that.

Yes you can get a gift deed from your siblings. But instead of having 2 gift deeds, one of them can transfer his gift to the other so you get just one deed. It makes your paperwork less clumsy.

But I already have taken the money from both. I think it is okay, I can manage the paperwork, but my main concern is that the gift deed from my siblings acceptable? Does it have to be from a parent only?

it can be from your sibling as well
