Hi,

I have a question regarding my work experience. I did my undergrad from 2010-2014.
During my school, I did a part time job at university around 2.5 years.
And after I graduate, I have a full time job for 1 year.

Should I count my part time job at the university?

If its a Canadian degree then that part time work can't be counted towards work experience. But if its a foreign degree and you worked minimum of 30 hours per week and paid work, then you can claim points for work experience

Part time experience can be counted if it was during studies in a foreign country.

The poster above is incorrect as you can certainly claim part-time experience (lower than 30 hours per week).

Apologies. for part time its 15 hours/week for 24 months equivalent to 1 year full time (1,560 hours). Correct?

Yeah... my degree is Canadian degree... so it can't be counted then, yeah? Just desperate for more points here
