Work Experience with gap

I have full-time work experience as Assistant Professor during the following time periods as per my tenure:
- 01.08.2016 to 19.05.2017 (9 months in College 1)
- 18.08.2017 to 29.11.2018 (1 year 3 months in College 2)
- 14.08.2019 - till date (7 months in College 3)

Since Express entry specifies "continuous work", does that mean my work experience would be just 1 year (College 2)? And accordingly, I will need to provide work experience for this 1 year only?

Assuming all of them fall into one NOC and that NOC is your primary NOC, then you have to count your experience from 18.08.2017, because you need one year continuous experience.

Thanks a lot for the answer. Do you mean to say that my overall work experience (for calculating CRS) should be counted as 1 year only? (18.08.2017 - 29.11.2018)

Correct. Experience outside Canada has to be continuous. Inside Canada, it can be fragmented

But shouldn't it at least be mentioned in the work history?

Sorry, I mean all the three work experiences should be mentioned in the work history, right?
And while answering the ques of eligibility "Total foreign work experience in the last 10 years", I should write "1 year". Is this correct?
