Work experience in Canada calculation on Express Entry Profile

Hi Guys -
I came to Canada on ITC work permit in 2018 and worked for about 4 months from 8th July 2018 to 11th Nov 2018. So I have entered the below details on my EE profile.
Start Month and Year : July and 2018
End Month and Year : Nov and 2018
Hours per week : 40
Again in 2019, I have landed in Canada on 19th Apr 2019 and I have been working in the same position till date. The hours per week are 40.
So I have entered the Start Month and Year as Apr 2019 and checked the check box to mention it is my current job. It makes it about 18 months of work experience this time.

My Canada work experience on the express entry profile is being calculated as 2 years and I am getting 46 points. But technically, if we include the actual dates, I am still short of about two months to reach my 2 years points. Now I may get EOI in next few draws with these points. Honestly I have not entered anything wrong as there is no way we can enter the dates on EE profile. I have the reference letters showing these dates as well. I have most o my documentation ready for submitting except medicals.

My question here is, will it be a problem while processing my application and do they penalize me for it ? Thanks for your time reading my case

If you want to claim the points, you need to wait until you actually have two years of work experience. If you submit your application without having the two years of work experience, yes this will be held against you and you should expect to lose thepoints you are not entitled to. If you receive ITA, don't submit your application until you reach the 2 years.
