Work experience Express Entry

Hi all,

I have a question that I worked full-time (40 hours+) for a company for two and a half years in Pakistan on contract and then left. I am applying in the category of management consultant. While claiming work experience does it matter if the employee was hired permanently or worked on a contract?

My experience letter says that I worked as consultant for company x on position y full-time from date a to date b having per annum salary of z and performed following job duties.....

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
