WORK EXPERIENCE DILEMMA!!!

Please i have a query to make.
My work experience goes like this.
Feb 2017 - Feb 2018
May 2018 - March 2019
April 2019 - July 2019
September 2019 - present.
So i was telling someone that by Feb 2020 i should have 3years experience, the person said No that because of the gap in between jobs, it doesn't count as 3years. Please how true is this? I am confused.

If you are applying under FSW, you need 1 year of continuous work experience which you have from Feb 17 - Feb 18. However, the other dates don't really add up to a total of 3 years. You might have to work a bit longer to get to 3 years but you can certainly get points for 2 years.

May 2018 - March 2019 = 10 months (could be 11, depends on whether it's 1 March or 31 March)
April 2019 - July 2019 = 4 months
Sep 2019 - Feb 2020 = 6 months

Total = 32 months (or maybe 33). For three years, you need 36 months.

Okay. Thank you so much. I understand better now. My score will increase to 475 in April then.. Hopefully the draw scores reduce before then. I was already excited and hoping to get an ITA in February.
