I received ITA under the PNP stream on October 14th
I graduated in May 2024, and I’m a bit confused about how to record my work experience for my PR application.
Here’s my situation:
Since Express Entry only counts work experience gained after getting the PGWP, should I adjust the “start date” for my skilled work experience in my PR application to May 2024 instead of April 2024? Even though the difference is only a month, I don't want to risk misrepresentation. Also would it cause confusion if my employment letter states the April 2024 start date?

- I had been working part-time with my current employer for about 2 years while studying.
- After finishing my final exam in April 2024, they changed my title to a full-time role (same company, different title).
- My employment letter says I officially started in this new role on April 16, 2024.
- I applied for my PGWP on May 25, 2024, which is the day I received my eligibility to graduate letter.
- In my EOI, I stated work experience starting from April 2024
