Work Exp on visitor record?

Hello all,
My work permit is expiring in March, and I am thinking of switching to a visitor record. My question is: Can I work remotely for my foreign employer and still gain foreign work experience?

Yes on a visitor record if the employer has no
offices, clients or customers in Canada. The one caveat is that Canada is trying to make temporary residents leave so an approved visitor record is not guaranteed.

Customers can be world wide. How to justify that. I understand that the company should not have a office in Canada, but customers can be from Canada, how's that a logical requirement? I don't get it
