Hi folks,

is there any updates from IRCC that I am missing?.. I heard from many people that work experience gained during study permit is counted towards total hours required for PR. To elaborate if one is working 20 hrs per week as cashier while studying gets any benefit of this hours when applying for PR?..
My understanding was only professional experience gained during work permit is counted towards PR application..

please let me know if there are any changes recently.. your inputs are much appreciated..TIA

If outside Canada and not studying in Canada, yes. Canadian work during studying in Canada does not count for CEC. Maybe thinking of TR to PR program that is now closed. Are you not a citizen?
