Hi
I completed my studies in December 2014 and applied for my PGWP on January 18, 2015. I started working on March 1, 2015. Now I am completing my 1 year of CEC on Feb 29, 2016. The problem is I received my post graduate work permit on April 30, 2015. Now can I make my express entry profile from March 1, 2016 or do I need to wait till April 30, 2016. Everytime I call CIC call centre they tell different things. I only have 1 year work permit and don't have a LMIA.
Does work done after completion of studies and after applying for PGWP and before getting PGWP counted towards CEC or not.

I finished my school (graduate) on December 14, 2012 and started working from December 15, 2012 as full time. I provided the letter I received from my school for PGWP stating my last day at school was December 14, 2012. I have received my PGWP after 3 months i.e. March 21, 2013. I applied for my PR under CEC in February 19, 2014, 11 months after receiving the PGWP work permit issuing date. I am a landed immigrant now did my landing on last August, 2015. Hope this helps.

It can be counted but it is not automatic. If you want it to count, you have to provide a letter of explanation and proof that you were no longer a full time student (e.g. completion letter, diploma with a date that precedes the job).
