Hi,
I currently live in Quebec under a PWGP (post graduate work permit) and I am getting hired by an Ontario based company to work and a software developer. I work from home but still have to register for Ontario income taxes (or at least that is what my employer says).

Can I live in Quebec and technically be employed to work in Ontario during my PGWP?

PGWP is an open work permit so you can live in Quebec. Your taxes will be a bit more complicated as you work in one province (Ontario) and live in another (Quebec) but the tax programs figure it out.
