hello every one, I need your opinion on this:

I Sent Application from London : 9th March, 2009
Reached Canada : 13th March, 2009
Received by Sydney Office : 18th March, 2009
Draft cashed : 24th March 2009 (I checked with my bank).

*My correspondence address is in China and my visa processing office in London, will this have any Negative effect?

I am still waiting for my AOR till this moment. Please can anyone suggest if I should fax sydney to enquire about this? if so any idea about their fax number?

i presume u are in someway connected to London, according to the rules?

Connected to London and what rule? I don't understand your question.

Please i need a responce regarding this..
thanks!

i read somewhere on this forum that there is no way to contact Sydney. Can some seniors please confirm this.

I think Rupeshhari meant if you had some sort of non-visitors visa to live in the UK. When I read first read your message, it sounded like you had applied from China but said London is your visa office so maybe he made the same mistake.

Oh...thanks for your reply to this posting..Indeed I live here in London and it is my chosen visa office. But my correspondence address is in China because I do not have a permanent address here and do not have a permanent stay here too.

It is reaslly frustrating not to get anything in the post (Address in China) after this long. I really do need help on this if there is any :(

I sincerely do not understand what you have written. What are you in London for? As a student, Tier 1 general or what? How long will you be in London for? If you do not have permanent stay in London,i would have thought you would choose China as your visa office but to give mailing address in China and give visa office as London don't you think it's a bit confusing? What if you're no longer in London when you get a reply, how'll you manage?

I don't know this is just my opinion.
