That is a good news indeed. Now we have to spend less for a one way trip. Great news for everyone who had no access to Canadian approved vaccines(or even any vaccines for the matter).
I dont understand, the article states they have to be Canadian approved vaccine

Fully vaccinated (with approved vaccines) already no longer hotel quarantine since July 5. This new update is to scrap HQ completely. Unvaccinated people per Canada standards, still need to make adequate arrangements for 14 days quarantine.

My parents are on PR. Is the day still Sep 7th for them? Technically they are Canadians with PR living in India
What about the India RT test? Will that be valid also?

Also great that more airports are now opened for international flights to land:
  • Halifax Stanfield International Airport;
  • Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport;
  • Ottawa Macdonald–Cartier International Airport;
  • Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport; and
  • Edmonton International Airport.

PR has always been able to enter Canada (as long as they've previously landed and cards are valid). Not sure about indian tests.

Unfortunately PCR tests from India are invalid, there are no exceptions to this
