You can send reqest for withdrawal of your application to concernd CIC office, they will send you the check/dd on your name to your address, If you apply again you will fall behid the queeee ! process is going to be delayed.

I dont know why you want to withdraw and again apply ! you can keep as it is !

I completed first stage and received AOR letter but do not think I will have the money for proof of funds before the 120 day visa office deadline.

Hi Roger,

I faxed a letter requesting a withdrawal and a refund of the application fee, along with a copy of the email from CIO-Sydney. (Buffalo visa office).

It took 2 weeks, but they acknowledged the withdrawal by email. Still waiting for refund - supposedly takes about 4 months.

I don't think there's anything preventing you from re-applying when you're ready.

Agree with jes_On. Just note that they need an original signature to take actions on your request for withfrawal. That is do not send an email. You will also need to send it to your corresponding visa office NOT Sydney CIO.

Thank you all for answers. So refund does apply if I withdraw application before 120 day deadline is reached ?

Yes. Might not be processed until after the 120 days, tho...

if that's the reason for pulling out, i'll say wait for at least 100 days and at that point if u r sure that u will be short of funds then withdraw it. who knows, u may get lucky till then.

Yes , that is exactly what I intend to do. Thank you for the advice, hope the property sells before the 120 deadline.
