Hello all
(cross posted under skilled worker class thread)

I am sponsoring my spouse from India. However, since it is our second marriage, I assume it will take forever (our case is a bit complicated, please see my earlier posts). It might take years to appeal if they start reinvestigating my previous marriage and refuse the application of my spouse for one reason or the other.

Therefore, I was wondering if my spouse could withdraw his application under spousal class and re-apply under federal skilled worker program (he will get at least 69 points). Would CHC view it unfavourably? The processing time for federal skilled workers in New Delhi is now just 10 months, much faster than going through appeal, ADR etc.

Any advice is appreciated.

His choice, but he has to qualify with experience in the list of "29" no matter how many points he has.
