I submitted my application for sponsoring my spouse just recently to Mississauga. I realized I completely messed up the schooling information my husband when I filled it out for him. The dates and location of his high schools were jumbled. I mean, it requires a complete redo of that single page on his application. The document is at Mississauga still and they haven't processed it yet though they probably will in the next week or two.

What should I do?? Should I withdraw the application and send it again? Or should I send the corrected page to Mississauga?

I am tempted to withdraw it because I am thinking that I should try getting him to come 'visit' me and then we would apply inland. I know the process is much much longer inland, but honestly, because of so many personal reasons, I think him not working for 2 years is a price we are willing to pay for him to simply be with me and our child. However, problem is that he is not from a visa-exempt country and he may be denied a TRV... I am not sure how the fact that I withdrew the PR application will look if we apply for a TRV within a month...

please advise....

oooh shoot, also I realized that the medicals were done in August and we had them to be originally sent to the VO in his country.... Or could they be redone in Canada?

what country is he from and what are the processing times there? I'm tempted to suggest just correcting the page when you get the file number. And yes, the meds can be redone in Canada if he can get a TRV.

He is from South America (I know, what a vague response!) and the processing time outland for PR is about a year.

The errors you made in his educational background seem not too serious (ie not intended misrepresentation) and can be corrected once the application is in process, but you also implied you needed him here. Care to elaborate on how important that is and whether or not your spouse has gotten a TRV in the past? These details may help other forum members add their advice.

I'd just send the corrected page in, it will be much easier that way, he could still come 'visit'.

Plus i believe inland may take a lot longer than outland anyway?
