Hello,

I am Canadian by birth and my partner has PR. We currently live in Canada. When I spoke sores him his dependents were listed on his application, had a medical, but were listed at not immigrating at that time.

What is the process for them to immigrate since they have been pre approved in a sense? Does anyone know what that timescale looks like?

Thanks

Assuming they are less than 22 years of age, it is sponsorship of dependent children, the whole process again. They will have to have new medicals done (assuming this was done more than a year ago) in most cases. They will do background checks but that may be shorter as they're minors.

Probably only peculiarity compared to spousal is it's a separate application for each of them (under spousal it's principal applicant + dependants).

You can check the govt website - it's 6-12 months I believe.
