My current study permit expires on 30th April 2023. I applied to extend it on 5th September 2022.
In the questionnaire there was a question about staying outside Canada for 6 months in the last year, I misunderstood this to mean the year preceding 30th April 2023 since I have a valid status until then, however now I think it meant the year preceding the date of my application. Based on the latter reasoning, I should have answered Yes and undergone a medical examination but I answered No as I did not interpret it correctly.
I have submitted webforms to withdraw my application and explained the reason behind it as well, but I'm worried they might ban and deport me for misrepresentation. Is there anything I can do?
