The only open work permit available to you under these circumstances is the destitute student open work permit. However to qualify, there must have been some extreme event that took place such as the collapse of your home county's banking system.

Otherwise the only option is to get a job offer and approved LMIA so that you can apply for a closed work permit.

Thank you.
1. If my spouse has an open work permit (which he got it as my spouse), and he worked for a Canadian employer for a whole year full time job, does it change the situation? And he still working for him.
2. If I get a job offer through the AIP (atlantic), with support from the employer. Is it ligal to apply? Or do I need to change my visa first to a visitor visa?
3. In case of finding a positive LMIA, can I apply directly or do I need to switch to visitor first.
4. How much time can I stay in Canada after the withdraw, I mean what is the period that I have to arrange all the above and stay legal?
5. What about children? If they attend Canadian school with thier visas that are originally due to next year. Can they continue? As long as thier father has an open work permit.

Thank you

When did you stop studying full-time and when had you started you full-time studies? When did your partner get their SOWP and when does it expire? To get accepted you had to show that you would be able to afford to study in Canada. Was there something that changed like a death of your guarantor, banking freeze, war, etc.? The fact that your partner was approved for an SOWP and is working points to the fact that you must have some money. Are you destitute or do you wish to stop studying for other reasons?

I started september, 2021.
I am planning to withdraw this month september 2022.
He got it with me, same time. It will expire in august 2023.

The fact your spouse is on an OWP doesn't help you unfortunately. You're still in the same situation.

You'll want to convert your status to visitor once you drop out of school so that you don't fall out of status in Canada.

Does he need to convert to visitor too?
What if I find a designated employer that willing to hire me? Does it save the situation?
Regarding the fact that I am a RN which is a real need here to the health care

He can continue working until his OWP expires.

Do you mean finding a designated employer under a PNP program? If so, that may give you a path for applying for PR but it won't give you the ability to drop out of school and then start working soon afterwards. You'll still want to change your status to visitor to avoid falling out of status and you'll of course need to stop working as soon as you stop attending school.

Yes I mean throught the AIP atlantic.
Where there is an option to get a work permit till they proccess the application. But anyway it looks like that I must go through the visitor category anyway.
