Hi

What is the procedure to get passport back after withdraw asylum application ?
1. Contact CBSA (CIC if they seized the passport)
2. Tell them you intend to withdraw you claim, once the claim is withdrawn, then the passport will be returned on you on the flight leaving Canada. Usually given to pilot.

When do they give passport to that person in Canada or when she reach her destination?

Depending on your itinerary, your passport will be transferred to the point of exit/airport, you will be given at the airport but CBSA officer will oversee until plane depart and you are on board.

Hi, i am in a similar situation. Do you have any idea on how long it takes to get feedback from CIC or CBSA when withdrawing your claim? Can you do it on email or it’s better to go there physically?
