wondering if anyone who sent their application in 2020 received their test invite?

Submitted application in Nov 2019
AOR received in Feb 2020
Test invite in April 2021
Test successfully completed and status updated in May 2021
waiting since then, no update

@harirajmohan , need your insight - Got the test invite but currently outside Canada. I sent an email and was asked to complete to test from outside Canada. But they are also asking when I will be back to Canada. I don't have any date yet. If I give a tentative date, of January, do I have to be back by January or inform them again if I can't make it back in January?

Its complicated. Their system still accommodates(based on our gcms notes) to enter the absence dates and might still even giving them option to mark the file abandoned if you dont return back at certain period. I dont know really how are dealing with it or how the officer would treat.

Was that the email after you asked for attending the test outside? There was 1 person asked like the same.

May be you can tell now that January and then see how it goes. But apply for gcms after a month and see if they place the file on hold or not. if not you can just wait and watch for next step.

Guys just a quick question, if we contact our local MP regarding the delay, do they actually check our application status with the local IRCC office or they just check the online citizenship tracker like we do?

I dont think they track via online. I have seen posts detailing the time line. So either they email to them or calling them to get the status.

Hello members, Do we need to show the passport on citizenship oath ceremony ? or for Canadian Passport application ? My Indian passport is going to expire soon and am thinking to renew it which requires to submit the current passport.
