We should be finding if we have 2019 applicants active to know if cic finished with 2019 at least and any movement from windsor location.
No idea if people are working or our files are at windsor.

Last week, my file was confirmed to be at Windsor office as confirmed by agent on helpline. I am yet to receive my notes detailing actual status of my file.
However, agent said that my file checks are complete and is in ready for test status

Ok. Hopefully they are doing the job.
I can only trust them 50-50 as they have very less insight into the files. I could see very few files from windsor for 2019 and they are not updating here i think(or i havent seen) hence dont know if their applications are completed for us to expect movement on 2020 applications.

Lets see if we see movement in our files at least by summer.

Well here's where my application is. Applied in July 2019, Aor October 11, 2019 in Process November 5, 2019, I do Not have to take the test due to my age. I have been a permanent resident since October, 2000. I recieved my GSMC files and everything has been completed and all I need is the Citizenship Oath, it's all I have needed since November 5 2019 and I am still waiting, and waiting and waiting. I called my local MP and guess what, his office was told, just going to have to wait. And yes my application is sitting in the Windsor office. I live in Chatham.

This is what i was worried that windsor location shouldnt be slow but seems they are slow unfortunately. Hopefully they return back this summer to clear the backlog.

I have a friend who has applied from the Windsor location in July 2019, he received a test invite in March 2020 and got cancelled due to COVID.
He didn't receive any online test invitation until now.

I have 2 friends at my workplace who applied in Oct 2019 and Nov 2019 and both have received test invites and completed it in Feb 2021 and one has an interview on 23rd march. So, I guess the Windsor office is working.

I am just waiting to get a copy of my notes to see which checks have actually been completed and where my file stands for now. Did you apply for your GCMS notes to see where your file actually is ?

One thing I have heard is that Windsor office is painfully slow as they only work for 2 half days in a complete week...

I'm thinking about moving to Windsor. How's life over there? I heard a lot of Canadians work and shop across the border because you earn US dollars and buy things dirt cheap?

Yes. it does show the current status of the file along with its current location.
