Hi guys,

I got into DeGroote School of Business Mc Master University for its full time MBA program. I have heard rumours that people who have a history of arrears in their UG can have their visa rejected because of it. Is it true? So far all the students who have gone to canada via consultancy agencies have shown concern for this. But for those people who applied on their own, I have not seen such a case.

Can somebody from the forum support team clear this out as to whether such a rule in fact exists or not?

I had to drop a semester in my UG from Sathyabama, Chennai, because of an accident. The recovery took a long time and my attendance fell short. Add to that the severe hot and humid climate and filthy conditions of Chennai, I often kept falling sick once I moved out of the hostel. The med certificates, and prescriptions, all of them, of course, have been deposited at the time to my UG institution.

Thanks,
Parikshit
