How Important Is Travel History for a Visitor Visa Application?

Travel history has been cited as one of the aspects that can be considered when applying for a visitor’s visa, but my question is how much significance should be attributed to it by the visa applicants.

Did you apply for a visitor’s visa and had some traveling experience? If you had traveled to countries where there were some stringent conditions for their entry and came back before the allowed time frame, do you think that this made your intention to travel evident
Also, I would like to know the experiences of those individuals who had little or no travel history but managed to prepare an excellent application due to other considerations.

Experience of new international travelers and also frequent travelers will be great.

You get assessed against many factors, one of them is a travel history. If you don't have one, you need to have stronger points for other factors to compensate lacking travel history.
