Can someone please help...???

A little background on my case, I applied for the BC PNP but I recently got laid off, so as I know I will have to look for a new employer that can continue to support me. So I know that I will have to obtain a new work permit with a new support letter the PNP provide..

My question is, if I can find a new employer than would like to support me.. but he needs me to work immediately, if even I know that I can get the support letter for sure, can I start working for this employer? will the CIC know I treat? The process time for a new work permit seems to be too long... It will take 2 months to process.... Do you guys have any other idea how it would work better in this case? Can I leave the country and come back and get a new work permit at the boarder? any thought....??

Please help..
