I'm on tourist for almost a year coz my sister have cancer ,from stage 3 it went to stage 4. Her husband is against for her getting treatment that's why I came here in Canada to help. I been helping my sister and also her kids 7 and 3 who have autism. Her husband always go in vacation and doesn't provide very well for family ,just paying rent thats all. Now my sister is on palliative treatment and I don't want to leave them like this . My brother in law is planning to accept a job to drive across the country so he don't have to deal with kids and my sister being sick. Please help us

I'm using my sister's login info to ask this question and if we have a chance for humanitarian and compassionate ground. My sister is PR and kids are both citizen.

You can certainly apply but be aware that H&C applications do not have a high success rate and take a very long time.

Hi, thanks for responding . My multiple entry visa will expire next year January should I exit and re apply for that while applying for H & C ? I just don't want to leave my sister and her kids. I lost my job for 8 yrs just to come here and help them but didn't anticipate that my sister situation will get worst but we have faith she will get well.

You can't apply for H&C if you are outside Canada. You should ask to extend your stay, rather than leave and reapply. The chances are very high that a new TRV application will be refused, given the circumstances. I assume that you have already formally extended your stay if you have been here more than 6 months. If not, you are out of status and that's a completely different ball game.

Can I extend even if my Visa expires January ? Or do I need to extend before I apply for H & C ? Thanks alot

Have you already extended your stay at least once?

Can I extend even if my Visa expires January 2020? Or do I need to extend before I apply for H & C ?should the h& c application be enough for me to stay.thanks alot. Please let me know if there are other options I can do

Yes I did and sent second one last July but no result yet.
In all honesty, I think that you need to be working with a qualified Canadian immigration lawyer at this point.
Your case is complex and has a number of negative factors to consider, both for extension and the H&C aspect.
For example, if you have been providing child care services, you may also have been working illegally.

First extension was approved ,second one I'm still waiting for results. I'm kinda lost what to do now . I just want to help my sister live

Engage a professional. That's my best advice at this point in time.
Didn't expect her husband would be like this ,in times of sickness .
