Will my application history affect my Express Entry application later?

Hello everyone,

I got a Postdoc Fellow offer to Canada for 2 years, and till now I received the approval letter for work permit and visa stamped. However, I am thinking to turn it down due to some personal reasons.

In that case, do you think if the cancellation of my work permit will affect to the application of Entry Express later on in the next 1 or 2 years? Is there anyone ever in the similar experience?

Also, do you know if I need to contact CIC to cancel my work permit? I am trying to do some research in CIC website but unfortunately I can't find anything so far.

No effect on your PR application. Regarding your other questions you'd have better luck asking them in the appropriate section of the forum.
