Will IELTS General work for Canadian Study Visa!

Hi all,

I need to have an urgent piece of Info about the validity of IELTS General results for Canadian study visa for my brother..

I would appreciate an urgent response as he has to register himself for IELTS ASAP.

As you may know, IELTS is not required by Canada Embassy. However, for the purpose of study ONLY academic works. Hope it helps.

Thanks a million for the reply.. Yes it helped a lot.

It means Ielts Academic is required for getting admission in institutes, and if the institute has no objection on general IELTS, embassy doesn't object anything.....or embassy doesn't even ask for Ielts??

If yes then my brother will apply with his general result, and wont need to get registered again for Academic..
