Will I be entitle for maternity leave benefits if I resign from my job (voluntarily leaving) ?

Hi,

I’ve satisfy all the requirements to be eligible for the maternity and parental leave benefits and have worked more than 600 hours within the last 52 weeks.

However, now I’m going to resign from my current job (voluntarily leaving) before taking my maternity leave.

So, I’d like to know whether I’ll be entitle for maternity and parental benefits?

I’d really appreciate your feedback and advice on this regard.

If you quit you are no longer eligible for any EI supplement. That includes maternity leave.
