Will French Stay Relevant after 1 Year ?

With recent Express Entry draws and category-based selection, I wanted to get opinions from experienced members here.

Do you think French language proficiency will remain an important factor for Express Entry over the next 1 year? Especially in terms of category-based draws or additional CRS points.

I’m considering whether it’s still worth investing time in improving French, so any insights or recent trends would be really helpful.

Read the government's 3 year immigration plan that was just published to see that French is its own category draw.
