What she has to prove to CIC in order for them to start investigating. Would not it be just a false complaint that would be enough. What all proofs she has to submit or provide in order to prove her case?

Regards,
Roby

i am surprised they even granted you permanent residence. it goes to show the marvelous work CIC is doing in Delhi. cases are like yours are worth the 33 month timeline other visa offices are facing. if i was your wife i would report you to the cic. i dont think your wife said anything wrong that you contribute financially!

I don't know how these investigations work. I imagine that whether they investigate would depend on what evidence she gave them.

I know the cases are rare only because that's what I've read in the newspaper.

It's possible someone else on the forum will know more, but I think in all likelihood nobody here will be able to tell you much about this.

If you're concerned about this, you should speak to an immigration lawyer. What you discuss with him will be kept confidential, unlike here, and he will be an expert on these issues. If the allegation is false, I think it's unlikely you'll have any problems. If I were you, I'd save my money for a divorce lawyer.

I'm ready to contribute and shoulder the responsibility however she is saying that she would not contribute anything to the household. I'm more than willing to contribute and support both of us.

Hope this would niana.j.

Please read my previous post carefully.
