Hello All,

I'm already in the pool with 440 CRS.
I had a 1 year PGWP and out of the needed 52 weeks i was able to get only 49 weeks of Canadian Work Experience. So no CEC points for me in Express Entry.
Now i already have 1.5 yr Work Exp from India, can i combine both Work Exp. as 2.5 yr and work another half year in India to get the 3 yr mark so that i get a boost in Express Entry points ?

What i mean to say is, is my 49 week Canadian Work Exp any useful in the Express Entry system ?

Will one year Canadian experience in NOC B be counted as exp under FSW if I apply after three years of acquiring this experience ? I have one year experience but I have to go out of Canada for 3 years for some reason. Can this experience be used later after 3 years to apply under FSW? I know for CEC it needs to be within last 3 years, and I know 3 years are long time to speculate about future policy changes, but just want to under existing rules, can it be used for FSW?

It has to at least one full Calendar year, you can count by the days, at least 365/366 days. Even if the current EE accept it, IRCC would reject that experience later.

Nahh, you are not getting it, i know that 49 week Canadian Exp is not going to be counted for CEC, it needs to be 52 weeks exact, but can i count it as Foreign Work Exp so that i can use it towards the 3 yr. Foreign Work Exp., i will get a boost of 254 points in Express Entry.

I'm not an expert on this, but I think you can't count canadian exp. as foreign exp. because it's not foreign experience. If you check CRS calculator, it gives you the options for Canadian exp:

Less than a year
1 year or more
etc...

If you choose less than a year, and it doesn't give you points, I'm pretty sure it tells you the answer. You should call an expert though...

If you worked in Canada, it was Canadian working experience.
If you worked outside of Canada, it was foreign working experience.
I don't know which part is so confusing for you.

So in short 49 weeks of Canadian work exp. go down the drain :-[
Yes. You are around 21 days short of getting points for your Canadian skilled work experience.
