Hello Dear Friends,

I have a question regarding sponsoring my future wife.
I landed in November 2014 and returned back to my country where I finished all the commitments there and got engaged.

I am planning to go back to Canada and settle permanently in Toronto in May 2015, of course after getting married :D.

My question is: When can I apply for sponsoring my wife?

Also, Since I wasn't living in Canada, I can't provide the printout-C from the CRA. What should I submit instead of the printout-C?

What kind of documents would strengthen my sponsorship application and make me able within the fastest time possible?

thanks

You can sponsor you fiencee (now) when you get married,
but you need to remember that you need to qualify in order to
be able to sponsor you wife.
You need to keep record of everything, including pictures of the engagement,
airplane ticket of your trip to your engagement, and all related documents.

Even though, it is not required to have a minimum income to be able to sponsor
your spouse, immigration will take into consideration your ability to do so,
and if you can not provide information about your income in Canada, or that you have
a stable job, they still can refuse you application because you can not prove
that you are capable of supporting you spouse.
That will be my only consideration.
Remember that as a new Permanent Resident you don't have reliable background
to check your financial capability, that's why they ask the Print-C
But if you have a good income in your country of any source, you can present that
information also. You don't need the print-C necessarily, but that is the document
that currently immigration relies on.

One final question, Did you get your Permanent Residence Card ??
Because that is the document that Immigration will ask to let you back in Canada.

Good Luck
