Why haven't I heard anything else after this email?

Hi everyone, on Feb 22 I received this email from IRCC:

This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2018/01/22 on behalf of the following member(s):


So that means they received my application to sponsor but does it also mean they've started processing it? It seems to be taking a long time to tell me small things like that.

Another thing, we requested for an extension for my husband's PCC through the webform CSE and uploaded proof in the PCC placeholder that the fingerprints, etc have been sent off and still haven't heard anything about getting that extension, it's been almost a month. Should I worry about that?

That sounds like the AOR email, is there a UCI associated with it?

You probably don't want to include personal details, like your fullf name, in the forum.

They do not send confirmation about the PCC extension.

If you haven't yet submitted the PCC there is nothing for them to tell you. Your app won't be transferred to the VO until you submit it

Yes there is, I haven't linked that application yet. But even if I was approved to sponsor they would have also sent out an email, right?

Yes you would get an email when you are approved to sponsor. Is there a reason why you haven't linked yet? When did you apply?

They received the application

They received the PR and OWP application on Jan 22. I tried linking it a couple times but since im just the sponsor I don't know what to choose when it asks what I'm applying for and the sub-category.
