It is march already. Ordered another note to see how my 2nd review goes..
I should be more patient since there are lots of applicants waiting longer than me.
But, it makes me nervous every single day.

sorry to say that, but there's nothing much you can do to expedite the application process even if your case exceeded 12 months. You can order the GCMS just to know what's going on with your file though.

Today my area's MP office called me and gave me the update on my file. CIC told MP that the applicant file has issues thus might need to send another department for review. This kind of files does not consider to be final with in an average time. This will probably gonna take a while to process. Due to sensivity of the issues on file we are not allowed to tell you further and will contact directly to applicant.

Yes i did contact MP couple if times , same reply Background verification gng on , have to wait .
GCMS says Review required according to teh notes in September 2014 , after that no activity on my file.

I am a May applicant and joined this forum today. I received my GCMS notes recently it says my case has been sent for review with following comments: "Letter of employment appears to be issued outside Canada"

1) Has anyone else seen such a comment in the past.
2) Should I take any action as of now or wait for CIC to contact me.

Early June 2014 applicant here, it's almost 8 months since AOR. No MR or any news from CIC.

Since I still need PCC from HK, waiting for the request letter.

Maybe that's the reason why I fall behind than other fellow June applicants?

Hey hkcec I am a March applicant and I got my PCC request for HK in Oct. Dont worry too much as they will make a request sooner or later.

You are not alone. Many of us are there with you in the same situation. wait and watch... There is always sunlight after the dark night. for us this dark night is little longer

I am kind of worried as the due date is passed and I still didnt recieve any update ,has there anyone in this situation who has update after the due date passed away ?

I got the same thing too. Second review dues Feb 25 but nothing back. Alot of people around this forum have the same situation, I think it's just the way CIC works - deadline doesnt really mean deadline lol

my WP is expiring in July, not sure if i should get BOWP once it's less than 4 months.
