Just got replied from my MP. They said "the additional documents that CIC requested have been received and they are in queue for further review". I submitted my docs on OCT 16, and now almost 2 months. Hopefully, this is a good news for me and they will review it soon.

I checked my GCMS notes .. Its blank. Doesn't show any due date
I shud be getting another note this week. Lets see.

I got three sets of GCMS so far and the latest file Generated on "12th of November"

SO far I have noticed a pattern in my notes regarding the review dates....

1st VO reviewed on 11th of August and assigned it to Second VO with a Due date set to 10th of Sep (Approx 1 Month)

2nd VO reviewed my file on 2nd September and requested for Add Docs and the administrative department sent me an email on 4th of Sep requesting same giving me a 30 days deadline to submit

My second VO left and my case was assigned to third VO and the due date was set to 10-10-204(Approx 1 Month plus 1 week)

I sent my Add docs on 2nd Oct and administrative department attached my docs to file on 8th of OCT.......

The third VO tried looking at my file before 8th of OCT as due date was set to 10th of OCT and couldn't find anything (This is my guess)

And now the latest set of my notes says the due date is set to 10th of Dec(2 months from previously set date)


So hopefully something might be coming for all of us before the holidays ......

Its blank for me too.. However under Eligibility assessment, due date is March 18, 2015.. I hope we dont have to wait till then

Yep. If an MR really was issued to you and you somehow missed it, an e-medical enabled clinic will be able to find your IME in the e-medical system. Technically your medical is not even upfront if they can locate your IME.

I went ahead to do the upfront medical last week. The doctor was not able to find the IME on the system. That means I didn't receive MR. I have emailed CIC my UMI number. Hopefully they will get it soon and the file is moving soon.

Can anyone shed some light on my case.
Applied in NOV 2013 , no response or request to till date.
My PGWP is expiring in Feb so i can apply for my BOWP. But my Passport is going to expire in July. what will happen in my scenario ,are they gng to give permit only till the expiry of passport ? if so can i renew the passport and apply for the remaining length of the bwop permit once thats gng to expire.(Hopefully i should get my PR by that time) .

I am really feeling tensed with my situation.

You can apply before receiving your old one... I have been doing it from my 1st application of GCMS....

Let me tell you how GCMS works...

For example:

If you apply on 1st of November.....They will generate the file some time around the same day or two and will email you on or after 30days meaning on November 30th.

But lets say you applied a second set before 30 days

For example on 16th November you applied for GCMS.... they will generate a file around 16th November and will give you on November 30th itself.

Meaning you are recieving latest notes

I did it three times I had the same result
