Right now i just check My online status... still in process... they already decided on oct-22 but they didnt update yet... So it means, they are not updating on time...

Hi! Canada 81,

may I know if your file was all the way processed by Buffalo office, was it transferred to other visa office ?
if so, it seems that if file was not transferred to other visa office, it will normally take 6 months from medical to PPR by Buffalo, as remember another member here also took 6 months.

mine is almost 4 months.

Hi guys

I have been going through this forum a lot, it has lot of information.

Thank you very much for sharing your experience.

I received a letter yesterday that the initial application review is complete and interview has been waived. They have requested me to send the 490 CAD or 490 USD fees.

Buffalo office has mentioned that I have to respond within 90 days.

Buffalo is requesting my wife’s FBI record, we have sent her finger printing card three times to FBI and they have rejected her cards due to unclear finger prints, I am not sure how to proceed further.

Wife and I went for finger printing at the same time mine was accepted by FBI.

Can you please assist?

Alberta PNP nominated in Jan 2010, CRC application sent on Feb 27, medical request received on June 10th, medical request sent to Ottawa Aug 6th

Thanks for your assistance.

it will go very fast, pay $$ at once, let the file move on...

Hi canada King,

Usually, Buffalo requests the RPRF (CAD 490) when they are ready to issue the PR visa. In your case, you need to submit the FBI record of your wife first.

From what I've been reading in other threads, getting the FBI record takes the longest so I suggest you work on the fingerprints and the FBI record right away, keep trying until the fingerprints are accepted. Maybe have the fingerprinting done in a different place than before? Take note though, I'm just giving suggestions since I do not really know the process of getting FBI record. Please forgive if I am inaccurate on this subject. :)

If getting this FBI record will take more than 90 days, you can wirte a case specific enquiry to Buffalo VO, ask for an extension for submitting the FBI record. Probably, they will understand and give you more time to comply with their request.

RPRF you can pay anytime, just send the payment to Buffalo VO with a cover letter.

Perfect, this week or next week... You can get ppr...

@canada 81....i just hope this week........please lord.........

oh, that's good. But it has been 4 months after my medical but no update in web, no news from them..

for some people who got PPR , their status in the cic web is still " in process", i found that the info and status update in Buffalo Office are so confusing.. They are giving the different info in the web than the e-mail to me.
