Who send their medical in June /July/August ... waiting for passport request

i have been waiting for more than 3 months... :'(

some have been waiting 3 months on the average...that's what i've been reading in different threads

more patience, i guess

Hi,

i sent my files to Buffalo on jan 2010, my medical done on april 2010, They receive my medical result on 26 april 2010....
Then i am still waiting... (5 months 14 days are done....)

i sent to email immigration office 2 times...

First answer "Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete."

Second answer "The application is in process. No further action is required by applicant at this time."

more patience....

well not me and my daughter...my husband is already in Canada on a work permit and TRV since December 2008. He got his PNP aproved last Feb. 2010 and since already there, he was instructed to send application for PR to Buffalo, NY.

sad thing is we overlooked one little detail when he got the nomination. it says there that he can already apply for a TRV for me and my daughter while the PR application is in process, we could have joined him earlier had we known now, it's pointless to use that option since our application is in its final stages already (waiting for PPR, then issuance of PR visa).

do you think it is okay to send a case specific inquiry to Buffalo now? i mean, it's over 2 months already since our medicals...is it reasonable to ask them if they have received my medicals?

Maybe the visas for this year is done, finished, and they will give new visas in the beginning of the next year? or just the Buffalo office is very busy?

Hi All,

As per my understanding, after reading similar threads I think PPR are taking longer time than before. Now a days almost everybody is waiting for PPR. Process gets slow at the end of the year because majority of the staff goes on annual vacations in Nov, Dec. (this is my personal idea).

KShahid, I hope that is the only reason why PPRs are slow these days...

oh well, I should find more hobbies ;D so I won't lose my patience

is your file proceeded under Buffalo or NY, they are different.

Heard that NY is faster as friend of my friends took 3 months from medical to PPR.
I just sent e-mail to Buffalo office to ask the criteria for the calculation of the processing time, their answer = no answer.

is another week, i have to wait for the mailbox again and again.

i hope the visa offices having quota for each year is not true we were hoping that the family will be together on Christmas

we are under Buffalo visa office. my husband just sent an email asking if they received our medicals already.

crossing our fingers, i hope they respond. i'll be checking my husband's email all day.

My Chinese friend got PPR request 2 weeks ago...

And he is under PNP, and he sent his medical result to Ottawa on may 2010.

So i wish these end of this month or next month, we can get request For PPR...

I hope they will give to us Christmas Gift...
